I began looking for a roofing company after I had some shingle damage to my roof following a series of storms that rolled through the area. When Patrick showed up to assess the damage and see how 9 Hammers could help, he was up front about everything right away. He assured me that the crew could handle the work, complete it quickly, and fix installation rrrors from a previous install. In fact, he showed me what I needed to ensure got fixed regardless of what company I went with. After his visit, I continued having roofing companies come out to give me estimates so I could evaluate which company was going to be best suited to replace my roof. After receiving all the quotes back 9 Hammers’ quote was the lowest, but lowest isn’t necessarily the best. However, I decided to go with 9 Hammers because, of all the roofers that came out to give me a quote Patrick was the only one that gave me insight on all the discrepancies that need to be fixed. Additionally, sharing a Marine Corps background I trusted what he was telling me. Looking at the scope of the work needing done, I was skeptical about how quickly it could be done. I was absolutely wrong. Patrick had the materials delivered the day before, and the day of a 6 man crew showed up and got to workby 7am. They knocked out a 2800 sqft house and a 1400 sqft detached garage in one day. That included tear off, underlayment, new drip edge everywhere, shingles, clean up, and they even painted all of the exhaust venting on the roof to blend in (something we had not discussed but was a pleasant surprise). As a retired service member, I have impossibly high standards.  9 Hammers exceeded my expectations. After the job was done, I received the invoice. I informed Patrick that I had made the claim to my insurance for the roof and that they were dragging their feet on my claim. He told me not to worry. He told me that 9 Hammers was happy to wait for the insurance funds to come back endorsed from the mortgage lender, allow my bank to process the funds after the check had been deposited, then I could make the payment and there was no need to make a split payment. My hat is off to the CEO/Owner, and to Patrick for their understanding and patience with my situation. I mean, a company that is more concerned with their customer’s satisfaction and that their customer is taken care of over how quickly they receive payment is unheard of these days. I cannot express my gratitude enough to the owner for how she handled my situation. She ended up waiting just over two weeks for my insurance claim to shake out before she and her crew received payment. That’s not something that I am proud of, but it needs to be mentioned to illustrate that her company’s bottom line appears to be service and a quality product over profits. You would be hard pressed to find a company with ethos like that these days. Truly, I would have zero issues recommending 9 Hammers to anyone who wants the best all around service. Professional, honest, on time, walked me through every step. I had a lot of damage unseen and took more time and supplies than expected. Francesco, Tony Montana and crew, Ryan and Patrick all took the time to tell me what was happening and what needed to happen. We were quite pleased with the excellent service we received from the 9 Hammers team. Fast response to our request for inspection of roof damage. We received a detailed explanation, with photos of the repairs needed. We were given what we believed to be a very reasonable estimate for the repairs. Patrick came back to walk the roof with the insurance adjuster at no extra cost. All work was scheduled and completed within a week after insurance report. Estimated price never changed. Patrick was extremely kind, helpful, and courteous. As new homeowners, we were overwhelmed with the possibility of roof issues. Patrick explained everything and made me feel comfortable with the details while giving me advice for future maintenance. Patrick Hayes at 9Hammers made my roof repair experience today truly stand out. What impressed me most wasn’t just the work itself, it was Patrick. He took the time to walk me through what was happening, explain the repair in a way that actually made sense, and answer every question without ever making me feel rushed. I came away feeling much more informed and confident about the work being done on my home. Beyond being knowledgeable and professional, Patrick is just a genuinely good person. It was a pleasure getting to know him, and you can tell he truly cares about the people he works with, not just getting the job done and moving on. 9Hammers associate Patrick Hayes conducted a roof inspection of our home. He arrived early for the appointment; he provided a detailed thorough roof inspection with feedback (pictures/ walk of roof) and future resolution. A fair competitive price offered, although our roof is good for another 2-4 years, 9Hammers will be my go to company for all matters related to our homes roof now and in the future. The experience was excellent. The workers arrived early to start the  job and laid down tarp to catch the majority of the debris. They cleaned as they went. Once the roof was completed they ensured all nails and debris was cleared from the grass and driveway. They cleaned my neighbors deck and yard from the flying debris. The team finished quickly. Patrick and his technician were very polite and knowledgeable. Talked about my roof repair for a few moments and they were off and running. Patch was quick, he explain everything step they were doing. Nothing less than 15 stars in my book, but 5 will have to do. I will never work with another company ever, Patrick and 9 Hammers made me a customer for life.
